Superior Class A Profiles
- External walls for windows and doors of profiles are the most important factor in quality and functionality, therefore the European norm DIN EN 12608 selects profiles in classes A, B and C initially in accordance with the thickness of the external wall.
- Unfortunately, the RAL Quality Marking Association no longer makes the classification of PVC profiles, so from 2014, there is only RAL certification of PVC profiles.
- The demand for class A profiles is very high: the thickness provided for the outer walls of the profiles is 3 mm (allowed tolerance from 0.2 mm), which represents 10% of the wall thickness of class B. During the production of windows, more specifically, when the screws are placed in the gutter and the profiles are connected, this difference increases and exceeds 20%.
PVC - ideal material
- The VEKA company is specialized in working with the most modern raw material of PVC, which offers important advantages not only economically, but also ecologically. The PVC material is extremely durable, due to its exceptional weather resistance and durability.
- There are no additional painting costs, because their smooth surface is very easy to maintain. In addition, the PVC material is characterized by exceptional resistance and superior insulation properties. At the same time, PVC protects the environment: the basic business practices of the VEKA company is to protect the environment, and the realization of this principle is clear both in the production process and in the activities related to recycling.
Thermalinsulation
- When it comes to thermal insulation of the building, windows and doors are the most important factor. By using a set of precise measurements you can take advantage of the greatest energy potentials.
- VEKA profiles imply the implementation of the standards prescribed by the thermal insulation laws for both new constructions and renovated buildings. Also, the high standards defined by the Energy Conservation Rule (EnEV) will be easily achieved.
- When it comes to the thermal insulation of the window, the most important element is the heat transfer coefficient (the so-called U-value). Using special thermal glass and high quality VEKA-PVC and multi-chamber technology, optimal results are achieved.
- VEKA windows meet all these requirements not only by its attractive design, but for outstanding internal values: stability, top-insulating multi-chamber systems reduce heating costs and provide maximum protection and safety. Optimal noise protection increases the quality and comfort of living, while the material is easy to maintain, is resistant to bad weather, is durable and offers an attractive appearance to the window. Metal reinforcements compatible with VEKA systems ensure a high level of safety.
Sound insulation
- Adequate noise protection contributes to a better quality of living. According to the latest medical analysis, high noise levels can lead to health problems.
- If noise is a problem for you, then our windows are the right solution for you. With VEKA profile systems, your home will once again be dominated by calmness. On the one hand, because of the excellent insulation characteristics, and on the other hand, because they have special glass in them. Depending on the intensity of the noise, there are additional optimization options such as box windows. VEKA profiles protect your home from all kinds of noise.
Protective security
- Windows, entrance doors and balcony or terrace doors are very important for the security of your home. VEKA profiles offer a high level of safety: manufactured from strong PVC and VEKA production rate, equipped with steel reinforcement – both in the arms and in the frame. All this makes them more stable and more resistant, if an attempt is made to open it by force. In addition, VEKA entrance doors are equipped with additional reinforcements in the door corners. Entrance doors of the VEKA profile have additional welding reinforcements in the corners.
- Also, a special type of glass and mechanisms can be installed in the VEKA profile, which achieves maximum security against theft. It is important that the profiles, glass and mechanisms are compatible.

- By combining different thicknesses of glass and layers of foils, different levels of security are achieved, the choice of which is made according to your personal needs: protection against theft by breaking, theft by pressure on the window sash or heavy impact.
- The window closing mechanism is used to move and control the window using a variety of functions such as opening, closing or tilting. In addition, the mechanism is of great importance in protection against theft. With the help of additional closing parts, safety mushrooms and window handles with locking function, it is impossible to open the window by force.
Durability and maintenance
- VEKA profiles are produced from the highest quality PVC, a reliable and extremely durable material. With special technology and continuous quality control, a high level of stability and resistance is achieved even in extreme climatic conditions. Therefore, VEKA window systems are easy to maintain, and their attractive appearance is durable.
- They do not need coloring. This fact is not only practical, but also saves you money, which you would spend on coloring.
- Also, the best VEKA PVC profiles make cleaning easier. Due to their flat surface they are easier to maintain – they only need to be wiped with a mild detergent and water. For larger dirt and maintenance of rubber and locking mechanisms, we recommend VEKA special maintenance cosmetics.
Environmental Protection
- The VEKA company contributes to the preservation of the environment: from the production process to the recycling of old windows – this is an integral part of the business philosophy of this company. In complex industrial processes, the maximum impact in terms of environmental protection can be achieved.
- PVC material, as a friend of the environment, offers great advantages. These advantages are visible starting from the production process, which, with the most modern technology, is subject to all environmental protection standards, and continues with the processing process, which is characterized by energy saving. Interrelated processes reduce energy and water consumption. Rainwater, which is collected in the appropriate space within the company, is cleaned of rubber and oil residues and reused in the internal water supply system.
- The VEKA AG company is also a leader in the field of recycling old windows and doors: thus in 1993 in Beringen, Germany, the most modern factory in Europe for the recycling of PVC windows, VEKA Umëlttechnik, was put into operation. With an automated process, pure PVC is obtained, which without any loss of quality is used again in the production of new profiles. Old building elements thus become valuable raw materials – and do not end up in landfills.
- In June 2002, VEKA AG established a new company, Reëindo GmbH. The purpose of this company is to coordinate, collect data and control arbitrary effects within the European PVC industry in terms of re-use of raw materials coming from old PVC windows and waste during the production of PVC windows, namely profiles for the production of windows and similar products.
